Join us at Grassroots Farm for a meal and an evening of conversation about our local history of the Farmerettes led by Lisa LaFlamme. Â

Grassroot Farm will then host an evening with farm fresh salad, artisan wood fired pizza featuring locally sourced ingredients and dessert followed by a conversation with Bonnie Sitter (author/photographer) and Colin Field (documentary filmmaker) led by Lisa LaFlamme (renowned journalist) about Bonnie Sitter’s book Onion Skins and Peach Fuzz: Memories of Ontario Farmerettes as well as the new documentary We Lend a Hand: The Forgotten Story of Ontario Farmerettes.
The Huron County Historical Society and the Huron County Museum invite you to two screenings. They will be hosted at the Huron County Museum. After each screening there will be a Q&A with the filmmakers and special guests, including Huron County’s Bonnie Sitter.
Entrance is by cash donation at the door. Tickets need to be reserved to guarantee a seat.Â
